Banister Homes, Inc. is a North Carolina general contractor with unlimited residential and commercial licenses.

Banister has completed office and retail renovations as well as an entire restaurant remodel at the Charlotte International Airport.

Banister Homes began building green homes in 2005 with a gut remodel project in the historic Elizabeth neighborhood, and now the company has green new homes and gut remodel projects throughout Charlotte.

Banister Homes has built new homes and transformed existing ones in many established Charlotte neighborhoods, including Dilworth, Elizabeth, Myers Park, Plaza Midwood, and Cotswold. The company has also worked with the Charlotte Historic District Commission on multiple projects.

Banister is a certified Green Builder in the North Carolina Solar Center Healthy Built Homes program and builds EnergyStar and certified North Carolina Healthy-Built homes in the Charlotte area.
